HALL OF FAME

Your assignment will be to create a webpage in the “Hall of Fame” on a person who has made significant contributions in the field of environmental issues.  Gather the following information about your environmentalist and then organize it in a clear and creative manner on your webpage:

• Photo(s) of the person. 
• Date of birth (& death).                                                                       
• Where was (is) s/he from? 
• What is their background?  (include childhood, education, careers)                                                    
• Read something written by your adopted environmentalist. Choose a quote that helps explain his/her philosophy about the environment.
• What key environmental issues concern him/her.                                               
• What accomplishments did he or she make to help the environment (writings, actions, laws, etc…)        
• Explain how you would apply this environmentalist’s philosophy to an issue that faces society today.
• All sources must be cited on your webpage (including photos). 
• Your webpage should be well organized and creatively interesting.
• Copying and pasting text from other websites is plagiarism - you must put the information into your own words.
