David "Gypsy" Chain

Born 1974 in Texas

Died 1998 during a protest against deforestation in California protecting the redwoods.

David's education is so far unknown

David's key environmental issue was deforestation. This applies today for it is also a environmental issue still today as we speak.

David had one very great accomplishment in his short life time and that was reserving the redwoods from being cut down, even though he had to die for this to happen.

David also has his own memorial tribute that sits near the site of where the tree fell and killed him. The tree itself is still laying were it landed on that horrible day. Thanks to his mothers wishes.
