David Suzuki

March 24, 1936

Born in Vancouver, Canada

     David Suzuki received his Bachelors Associates degree frin Amherst College of Massachusetts in 1958. In 1961 Suzuki received his PhD in zoology from the University of Chicago. David studied genetics in his early career by using fruit flies.  He was a professor at the University of British Columbia for almost 40 years until his retirement.

     A big concern of David Suzuki's was Global Warming which made him focus alot on climate changes.

     "In the environmental movement... everytime you lose a battle its for a good, but our victories always seem to be temporary and we keep fighting them over and again."
